Our School Year Guarantee

Product Warranty

All FlynnO’Hara garments are guaranteed up to one year from their date of purchase. If for any reason you're not fully satisfied with the way a FlynnO'Hara item is holding up, we’re happy to replace it with an identical item at no charge. Examples of manufacturers defects covered under this warranty include pilling, unsewn hems or seams, broken zippers, etc.

Return Policy

FlynnO’Hara is happy to accept returns up to one year from the date of purchase for products brought back in sellable condition (please see requirements listed below).

All refunds require both a receipt and valid photo identification. Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment; cash refunds exceeding $50.00 will be issued by check within 10-14 business days and mailed to the customer.

We accept:

  • Items that are unwashed, unworn, or unaltered
  • Items that are less than one year from date of purchase
  • Items that have their original tags attached

We cannot accept:

  • Items that have been washed, worn, or altered
  • Items that are missing tags
  • Discontinued items
  • Items purchased more than one year ago
  • Socks or tights that are removed from their packaging
  • Items that have been customized with a name, initials, or graduation year

How do I return an item?

To process a return or exchange in one of our stores, simply bring in your unworn, unwashed items into the store with proof of purchase (receipts or order number) and the store will assist you with your return or exchange.

How to Begin a Return

Can I return a customized item?

Items customized with your school name or logo can be returned, provided the product is in sellable condition as defined under our return / exchange policy.

However, special orders and items customized with a student’s name, initials, or graduation year are final sale and may not be returned or exchanged.


Can I return online purchases in-store?

Yes! We accept returns for online orders in all our retail locations. Simply bring your items and order receipt to the store and we will assist you with your return.


Can I make returns at my school’s measuring day?

Yes! We accept returns at our on-campus events, provided the returns meet the requirements stated in our Return Policy. Please note that your original order will be refunded within 7-14 days.

I’m a new customer, where do I start?

First off, welcome! The first step is to decide how you’d like to shop. You can shop online at flynnohara.com, find your local store, or give us a call at (800) 441-4122!

Online shoppers: start by searching for your child’s school using the search bar at the top of the homepage. First entering your state, and then your school name; as long as your school is a FlynnO’Hara Partner, you should see it listed in the dropdown. Choose your school, and click the button Get Started!

Once you've landed at your school’s page, next select your student’s grade & gender to begin shopping. The assortment you’ll see under the “Shop” tab is narrowed down to just the products your child is eligible to wear, based on your school’s uniform specifications for his / her grade & gender.

Under the “info” tab, you’ll find important details including a list of FlynnO’Hara stores that stock your school’s uniform, any upcoming on-campus uniform events, etc.

Store Shoppers: When you arrive at your school’s designated Uniform Store, our store associates will help you choose the right products based on your school’s uniform specifications, and your student’s age / gender.

When should I shop for my uniform?

The earlier you can shop the better! Our recommendation is to shop at least 30 days before the start of school if you can. This allows enough time for returns or exchanges in the event that something doesn’t fit, to ensure you have everything you need for the first day of class. It also means you’ll beat the back-to-school rush of late August and early September!

Keep in mind, 40% of all uniform products have an element of customization for your school (such as embroidery or silkscreens) and can take extra time to produce. This is another reason we encourage customers to shop as early as possible!

How do I order uniforms if my school is not listed?

If your school doesn't use FlynnO’Hara as their exclusive uniform supplier, please shop in our Girls' General Store or Boys' General Store. Please keep in mind our general store merchandise cannot be customized with embroidery or silkscreen for non-partner schools.

How many items will I need for the school year?

The number of items each student will need varies on a few different factors. If you’re shopping online, click on a product, and under “Details” you’ll see a section called “Quantity Recommendations”. Here, you’ll find the range we recommend for your student!


How do I order a custom or special size?

Special orders are placed when a student needs a size larger or smaller than those offered within our product assortment (For example, a skirt requiring an extra 5 inches in length). Please note that special orders cannot be placed to customize an item for a shorter length, or to order a product in-between sizes.

Please note that special orders incur an additional $10 charge per item and can take up to 8-12 weeks to arrive. We can only take custom orders for FlynnO’Hara partner schools.

How do I check the status of my order?

First, check your email for a shipping notification from us with your tracking number. If you haven’t received your package or a notification that it has shipped, it's likely that it’s still processing or being customized.

If you placed an order online, you can also login to your account to check the status of purchases made at flynnohara.com. If you need assistance please contact our Customer Service Team.


How long will it take to receive my order?

Processing and shipping times will fluctuate based on the time of year you order. Please refer to the below chart.

Clinical Uniform Orders

Kindly take note that orders for clinical uniforms take 2 to 4 weeks to process. You will receive notification via email when the order ships, which will include tracking information.

Can I expedite my shipment?

At this time we are unable to offer expedited shipping. Our products ship FedEx SmartPost or FedEx Ground/Home Delivery depending on the size/weight of the package.


When will I receive my order after a Uniform Event?

This depends on a few different factors, including your school’s uniform products and the time of year that the event takes place. For most events, orders that are paid in full typically ship within 2-3 weeks of the event, provided all ordered items are in stock. Events that take place during peak season (July, August, September) may take longer to process and ship.

If your school has a fully custom product, or if your school’s event takes place early in the year, your orders may not ship until the beginning of the summer. We will let you know during the event if your school falls into this category!

How will my package ship?

Our products ship via FedEx SmartPost or FedEx Ground depending on the size/weight of the package. Once an order has been shipped from FlynnO'Hara, we will send a shipping notification email which will include a tracking number, which you can click to check your package's status and shipping method.


I received a notification that my order shipped but it hasn't arrived, what should I do?

Please refer to the tracking number in your shipping confirmation email to check on the status of your shipment.

It's possible that FedEx or USPS tried to deliver the package, but there was no secure place to leave it. In this event, you package is most likely at your local post office. If your tracking notice reads “Delivered to US Post Office”, the package will then be delivered to your home via FedEx SmartPost by USPS.

Here are some helpful tips from our customers:

  • Check the tracking to see if the package was marked delivered or if there was a delivery exception, etc.
  • If it’s marked delivered, check around the house, behind bushes, back of the house, etc. Sometimes delivery drivers will leave it in a more secure area.
  • Check with your neighbors to see if they may have received it by accident, most orders are found this way!

If your package is still not found, please contact us as soon as possible and we will further investigate and replace your order if needed.


My order has not shipped yet, why did you charge my credit card?

Due to the custom nature of our products, all orders are charged at the time that they are placed.


I placed an order on the website, but I still haven’t received a confirmation email. Did it go through?

You should receive a confirmation email less than 10 minutes after your order is placed. If you do not see one, please check your spam folder.

If you haven’t received an email within 10 minutes of placing your order, please contact our Customer Service Team. We can confirm that your order went through or assist you in placing a new order if it did not.


Will I need to sign for my package?

No, you will not need to sign for your package. Please note, though, that for the security of your purchase, if there is not a secure place to leave the package (or a note on the door), FedEx/USPS may return it to your local post office.

If you don’t want your order shipped to your home, you can use our Ship to Store option to send it to a nearby FlynnO’Hara retail location! Once your order is ready, we’ll email you to pick it up at your convenience!


How much does shipping cost?

There is a flat rate fee of $9.50 to ship orders placed by phone or online to a customer’s home. Orders placed at a retail store will incur a $5.00 shipping fee. There is no shipping fee for Ship to Store orders.


How can I pay my invoice?

If you received a bill in the mail, you can pay you can pay your remaining balance over the phone, or by mail.

Can I place my order and pick up same day?

Due to the custom nature of our products, you cannot place an order for same day pick up. Online orders are fulfilled in our Philadelphia, PA Headquarters, so please allow enough time for processing and shipping when you place your order. If you need your items quickly, please visit your local store to shop for available items.


Does my order ship from the store?

All orders are fulfilled and shipped from our Philadelphia, PA Headquarters. This includes orders placed for Ship to Store. If you have any other shipping questions please contact our Customer Service Team at (800) 441-4122 or atyourservice@flynnohara.com.

How do I check the status of my order?

First, check your email for a shipping notification from us with your tracking number. If you haven’t received your package or a notification that it has shipped, it's likely that it’s still processing or being customized.

If you placed an order online, you can also login to your account to check the status of purchases made at flynnohara.com. If you need assistance please contact our Customer Service Team.


When will my backordered item arrive?

We make every effort to ship out backordered items as quickly as possible. Backorders can take up to 4-6 weeks to ship from the date of final payment, but items typically arrive sooner.


Can I cancel my backordered item?

If you decide to cancel or remove an item from your order, please call our Customer Service Team at (800) 441-4122 for assistance.

How do I view my previous orders?

To view previous online orders, login to your account using the email address and password you created when you placed your order. On your account page, there is a tab for “Orders.”

How do I cancel or modify an order?

Please call our Customer Service Team at (800) 441-4122 to cancel or modify your order. Orders can be cancelled up until the day of shipment. Unfortunately mail orders cannot be modified. If you need to make a change and your order has not yet shipped, our Customer Service Team can cancel your original order and place a new order. Alternatively, you can go ahead and place a new order and return the items from your original order up to one year from the date of purchase. What is the “Ship to store” option?

At checkout, you may notice our Ship to Store option. This allows customers to pick up their online or phone order at their local retail location. This is a great option for customers that do not want to ship their order to their home, plus, there is no shipping fee on Ship to Store orders!

Please note, these orders are fulfilled from our Philadelphia, PA fulfillment center so they may take the same amount of time to process and ship as a regular online or phone order.

When can I pick up my Ship to Store order?

You will receive one email when your order has shipped out and another when your order is ready for pick up. Once you receive an email that your order is ready for pick up, your order is ready. If you’d like to check if your order is ready, please contact our Customer Service Team.


How long will the store hold my ship to store order?

If your order is still waiting to be picked up at our store, we will call or email you to remind you that your order is ready for pick up. We will hold your order for approximately 30 days; at that point we will contact you a final time. If you realize you have not picked up your items after 30 days, we will mail you a refund check.


When I place an order online does my local store fulfill it?

All orders placed on www.flynnohara.com are customized and fulfilled from our Philadelphia, PA warehouse. This includes orders placed for in-store pick-up!

Can I shop at any retail location?

It’s best to shop at the location that services your school because we carry your school’s specific products and logos (to embroider and silk screen products). Please use our store locator to find the retail location that services your school!

However, you’re welcome to shop at any one of our locations! We may not have inventory on-hand for your school, but we’ll be happy to size your student and place an order for your uniform products to ship to your home.

Does FlynnO’Hara sell shoes at the retail stores?

Yes, most of our retail locations carry shoe inventory for schools they serve. If we are out of the style or size you’re looking for we’re happy to order them for you at checkout!


Can I call the store to hold merchandise?

We’re happy to hold merchandise for up to 24 hours when possible. During the back to school rush in August and September we are unable to hold merchandise due to the volume of shoppers in-store. Below is a table that shows when we can offer this service.

Can I call the store to purchase merchandise?

No, our stores cannot take payment for orders over the phone. If you need to place an order over the phone, please call our Customer Service Team at (800) 441-4122 and we can assist you!


Can you add my school logo to products at the store?

Yes! Each retail location is equipped with an embroidery and silk screen machine to apply your school’s custom logo. Typically this process takes no more than 15 minutes, however, depending on the number of orders in queue, wait times may be longer.

Please note that due to the increase in volume during the back-to-school season FlynnO’Hara cannot guarantee your customized garment will be available the same day you place the order. During busy times we may limit the number of items that can be embroidered in the retail store. We will do our best to provide a minimum of one item but may need to order the remaining items to ship to your home or ship to the store for pick-up.


Can you add my school logo on non-FlynnO’Hara Merchandise?

We’re unable to customize (embroider or silk screen) products purchased outside of FlynnO'Hara.


Why don’t items have price tags on your products?

Pricing varies by school, depending on the size of the school’s logo and the degree of customization required. Since each school has a unique logo, pricing varies by school. To find pricing for your school’s uniform, please click here to find your school. Standard pricing for non-customized products is listed in our General Store.

Can I purchase clinical uniforms in the store?

We do not carry clinical uniform inventory in our stores, but we do have samples available to try-on for size! Our store associates will be happy to help you place your order to ship to your home. You can also shop for your nursing or clinical uniform program online!

Uniform Events

What types of events do you have?

FlynnO’Hara works directly with our partner schools to schedule uniform events either on-campus, or in our local stores. To see if your school has a uniform event coming up, visit your school’s info page!

When is my school’s uniform event?

For all information regarding your school’s upcoming events with FlynnO’Hara, please click here to search for your school. Once you’ve found your school, look for upcoming events listed under the INFO tab. If there is not an event listed on your school’s page, we may not have one scheduled for this year!

Sizing & Garment Care

I ordered a half (/) size for my child, but the product doesn’t fit.

Some of our products are noted with a / which indicates a “half size” or “plus size”. These sizes are intended for a plus size fit. If your child normally wears a regular child’s size, we do not recommend purchasing a half (/) size. For the best fit, be sure to use the size chart associated with each item you’re shopping for, which can be found on that products page

Does FlynnO’Hara do alterations?

No, we don't do alterations, but our products are made with generous hems on all pants and skirts, growth tabs on the inside waistline of our boys' pants & shorts, and easy-adjust buttons on our kilts to allow for growth.

What are the washing instructions?

Care instructions are included on the tag and online product description of each of our uniform garments.


I need help understanding your sizes

Some of our unique uniform items such as kilts and skirts are based on manufacturer’s sizing and patterns. You may notice these sizes are a bit different than other clothing retailers. The best way to make sure that your child receives the correct size is to take their measurements and use the size chart listed on that specific item’s product page to determine their size

Is there a gift card minimum or maximum?

There is a maximum of $500 per gift card. If you wish to purchase an amount greater than $500 please purchase additional gift cards to reach your desired amount.


Can I use more than one gift card?

Yes, we accept multiple gift cards per order.


Can a lost/stolen gift card be replaced?

Unfortunately, lost or stolen cards purchased before April 1, 2021 cannot be replaced. If you need us to resend the email for a digital gift card, please contact our Customer Service Team.

Gift Card Policy

Gift cards may not be redeemed for cash and are nonrefundable. Gift Cards must be obtained from FlynnO’Hara Uniforms or authorized third party. We are not responsible if any FlynnO’Hara Gift Card is lost, stolen, or destroyed, or used without your permission. Please contact our Customer Service Team if you have any questions.

Why is my promotion code not working?

Make sure your total meets the order minimum before tax & shipping and that the promotion code date has not expired yet! If you're still having trouble, please call our Customer Service Team at (800) 441-4122.

Please note, valid promotions are posted from FlynnO’Hara Uniforms sources only. Be aware that promotion codes from external websites may not be valid. Be sure to check our website and your school’s page for current promotions.


I’m a teacher, do I receive a discount?

We offer a 15% discount to teachers and employees from our partner schools. To access your educator discount online, simply create a FlynnO'Hara account with your school email address. Next, apply here using your school email address. Once we confirm your account, you’ll automatically receive 15% off future online orders, so long as you’re logged in!

In-store or at an event: If you would like to shop in one of our retail stores or are attending an event, simply present our sales associate with your employment credentials (school ID or paystub) and we will apply the 15% discount.

Does FlynnO’hara provide a military discount/senior-citizen discount?

We value our service members and their sacrifices. However, as we are a business that works closely with the educational community, we currently only offer a discount to teachers and employees from our partner schools. We appreciate your understanding.

Customization

What is customization?

When we talk about customization, we’re referring to the application of your school’s brand logo onto our uniform products. Our different styles of customization include embroidery, silkscreens (or a heat transfer), and emblems which are attached to items such as blazers or sweaters.


Can I add a child/student’s name or initials?

We can embroider your child’s name on a garment if it’s requested by your school or part of your school uniform requirements. If you want to check if this option is available for your school, feel free to ask our Customer Service Team at (800) 441-4122 or by emailing atyourservice@flynnohara.com.

How do I purchase my clinical uniform?

You can purchase clinical uniforms here on our website or by placing an order at your local store. In-store, you can try on the scrubs to find the right size and our team can help you place an order.

Yes, our stores carry clinical scrubs for you to try on and find the right size, and our team can help you place an order in-store. At a uniform measuring day, our team will help you select the right size and take your order on-site.


How long will it take to receive my clinical uniform order?

Kindly take note that orders for clinical attire do take 2 to 4 weeks to process and ship, as most items do need to be ordered. You will receive notification, via email when the order ships, which will include tracking information as well.
